BlackBerry 10 Gets Its First Update With 5 Major Improvements

BlackBerry rolls out the first update for BB10 and it brings a lot of goodies with it

Can an OS exist without any scope for improvement whatsoever? The answer is No. It's hardly been a month since the BlackBery 10 came in front of the world and we already have the first Over-The-Air update for the operating system and it is now available for download to your latest BlackBerry 10 running device, the Z10.
The update brings a host of new features. The update version is 10.0.10.85 and it is 158 MB in size. It will help improve the battery life, camera abilities in low light conditions and will give a nice boost to the performance of the device. The update will bring a better support for third party applications and a better performance from them as well. Whatsapp is coming to the operating system this March and it will benefit significantly from this update.
The official changelog also states that the update will provide a better support for Calendar, Phone and Contacts.

It reads as: 'Among the top improvements and features are fixes for Gmail calendars on BlackBerry 10. You’ll also find improvements in the BlackBerry Hub for logging calls log and how conversations are handled. We’ve also made general improvements to importing contacts from online sources.'
The browser will also get benefited from the software update and will be slightly more helpful in the multimedia playback department. But the most noticeable and worthy updates still remain the camera and battery life improvements. You expect your smartphone to last long between charges and click decent pictures for you and the update makes sure that BB Z10 does that.
BlackBerry is betting big time on the BB10 and is working constantly to make its users are happy and attract more to the brand. Updates at regular intervals and a little bit of tweaks every now and then will surely help BlackBerry increase the number of BlackBerry Boys.
